Our Patient Community
The heart of Sjögren’s Ireland is our wonderful patient community. Our WhatsApp community is an incredibly supportive and insightful group. With members from across Ireland, it is a space to share experiences and ask questions with those who understand the reality of living with Sjögren’s disease. The group is aimed at those living in Ireland who have Sjögren’s, who have suspected Sjögren’s, or who are caring for someone with Sjögren’s. If you would like to join our group, you can contact us here.

Sjögren Europe : We are delighted to be a member of Sjögren Europe. Sjögren Europe is a European federation of national associations representing Sjögren’s patients. Its purpose is to get more visibility, attention and solutions for Sjögren’s by promoting the advancement of knowledge, research, information, treatment and care, by fostering patient involvement and participation in the scientific research, medical, health and political institutions, pharmaceutical industry and social areas, and by increasing awareness about Sjögren’s at all levels.
International Sjögren Network : In 2009, the International Sjögren’s Network (ISN) was established by 15 organizations that met in Brest, France, at the 10th International Symposium on Sjögren’s.
This symposium, which brings together researchers and clinicians from around the world, also was an opportunity for patient groups to meet and discuss how best to collectively work together to increase awareness and services for Sjögren’s patients worldwide.
